Why divers use it Lionfish sit in holes, under ledges, and on the reef where a long gun is awkward. A sling pole spear lets you get close, place the shot, and keep moving. Pair it with a ZooKeeper containment unit and you can slide the fish off the tip and into the container without touching spines, then keep hunting.
The 6 mm thread means you are not locked into one tip. Run barbs when you want the fish to stay on, or no barbs when you want a faster unload into the ZooKeeper.
Care Rinse with fresh water after saltwater use. Let the band dry out of direct sun. Replace the band when it shows nicks, chalking, or stretch. Extra bands are included and also sold separately.
