What are Lionfish Containment Units (The ZooKeeper)?

ZooKeeper is a containment unit or container making it safer & easier to contain Lionfish, debris & other catch while you dive.

They eat a lot. Known to prey on over 70 different species, lionfish are particularly adept at eating juvenile fish, like parrotfish, who consume algae that grows on coral reefs. These fish play an important role in keeping reefs healthy, and without them, entire coral reefs suffer.

Lionfish are a predatory reef fish. They eat native fish, which can reduce native populations and have negative effects on the overall reef habitat and health as they can eliminate species that serve important ecological roles such as fish that keep algae in check on the reefs.
