The hunt continues! Apex Predator Summer Showdown is your chance to make an impact while taking on the ultimate underwater challenge. Happening Labor Day, September 1st, 2025, at Riviera Beach Marina in Palm Beach County, FL, this lionfish derby brings together divers of all levels for a single day of competition, conservation, and community.

Lionfish are one of the biggest threats to Florida’s reefs, and we’re not taking a day off from the fight. Join us in removing these invasive predators while competing for cash prizes, gear giveaways, and ultimate bragging rights!

How It Works:
🦁 Participants will board one of two dive boats and head to designated dive sites.
🎯 Teams of two will compete to remove as many lionfish as possible during a two-tank dive.
🏆 Prizes will be awarded for the most, largest, and smallest lionfish caught.
🎁 Every diver will receive an exclusive Apex Predator Labor Day Lockdown challenge coin and a straw sun hat with a lionfish under brim design

Prize Structure:
🏆 Most Lionfish Caught: $250 cash prize
📏 Largest Lionfish: $100 cash prize
📐 Smallest Lionfish: $50 cash prize

✅ Participants must provide their own dive gear (rentals available through local dive shops).
